Before this work, I was an actor and screenwriter. That world taught me one thing that changed everything: emotions live in the body. The body does not lie. Everything we carry — every fear, every inheritance, every unspoken truth — is stored in our cells, our breath, our belly.
In 2016 I had my first pregnancy. It did not continue. But that soul came with a purpose — to crack something open in me. I have one child in spirit and one child on Earth. The spirit child was the beginning of everything.
When I became pregnant with my daughter, I cried out to God at seven months asking for a sign. That same afternoon I saw a woman on Instagram planning to freebirth in Costa Rica. My whole body said yes. I followed that knowing across an ocean — and birthed my daughter near the coast where whales come to birth. That is what this temple is built on.
